Murphy’s Creek Lamb is yet another specialized meat product for The Fat Butcher. Straight from our Farm are Merino Lambs, hand picked for size and fat content weighing approximately 20 plus kgs dressed carcass weight. Merino Lambs are sweet, darker in colour and possess little fat!
The lambs are drafted into designated paddocks where they are grass fed and have access to native grasses. They have access to Sheep Feeders with a Lamb ration to assist and enhance the the flavour and texture of the meat.
The pastures on the Farm are not sprayed with any from of chemicals, but the lambs are drenched and vaccinated for animal health and protection. Mulesing of Lambs does not occur.
